AE  — ANOTHER ERA of the Church of Christ ~ Iglesia Ni Cristo

Millions of netizens and Social Media followers especially members of the Church of Christ have known me as AE or Antonio Ramirez Evangelista, a minister of the Church who has been exposing the corruptions of the members of the Sanggunian and their cohorts.

Aware of my being a minister of the Church, many wonder why I chose to use AE as my blogger’s name. Let me tell you why? Antonio is a common name, so easy to remember, yet a name that exudes simplicity, for I wanted my fellow brethren to accept me as a simple person, an embodiment of members of the Church who long for the truth and whose hearts bleed in the face of corruptions in the Church. I added Ramirez to further emphasize my being ordinary, that, like everyone else, I have a middle name. I used Evangelista as my surname because I wanted everybody to know and remember that despite my being an ordinary human being, I am first and foremost, a minister, an evangelist, someone who will always preach God’s words written in the Bible.

That as such, I am duty bound to always put a difference between good and bad, and that I should never tolerate anything wrong especially if it would destroy the sacred image of the Church.

When I started as AE on April 11, 2015, and decided to begin fighting the corruptions being committed by the members of the Sanggunian, I knew that it would not be an easy task. That there is a long, winding and rough road I would need to traverse to reach the end of my journey. It would be a long battle, for many members would not understand my intentions and actions. Many would even be mad at me thinking that I am against the Church Administration, sowing division in the Church, thus, destroying it eventually.

This thought could had been enough reason for me to be discouraged, but my loving concern for the Church and the Administration is much greater than anything, that it added more fuel to what can already be considered my burning desire to defend the Church. The thought that the Church would soon reach its 101st anniversary on July 27, 2014, reminded me of a new beginning, a new or Another Era (AE), a perfect timing for a renewal or change.

Change is what the Church needs. Definitely not a change in its structure, for Christ will forever be the Head of His body, the Church. Not also a change in its doctrines, for its pristine doctrines taught by God’s messenger in these last days, Brother Felix Y. Manalo, and faithfully upheld by Brother Eraño G. Manalo,  remain pure and true.

Not even a change in its rules because they are purely based on the truth or God’s words. Change is needed because in the past few years some ranking ministers have caused rampant corruptions in the Church. Instead of guiding the Church towards perfection to be fully prepared for salvation on the day of judgment, they have become the devil’s advocate and instruments in leading many to damnation.

We call on all the members of the Church especially the ministers and evangelical workers, to seize this time given by God to change what has to be changed. Let’s begin with ourselves by completely renewing our lives. If we do so, then we will have the boldness and the right to expose the works of darkness committed primarily by the members of Sanggunian. Let us fervently ask for God’s help as we have just entered INC— 101.
